The house lies in a protected area and motor vehicles are discouraged except for access. The view out is over a varied landscape of woods, heather and sand dunes, interlaced with local foot paths and bicycle paths and occasionally with small farms. To the North one is quickly into the main river lands of Holland, to the West one reaches the bourgondic City of Den Bosch in ten minutes by car, whilst half an hour cycle ride to the South one is in the Brabant Land with its many forests, small towns and villages. But you will not really need to travel to find nature, as you are staying in a house surrounded by it!
